Some music comes with a loud introduction. Other music is slow, calm and gets better with every listen. Krey Galin’s new EP, "My Plan", falls squarely into the latter.
The imaginative musician, born in Recife, Brazil, brings a unique take on the global pop landscape with a seven-song compilation shaped by patience, maturity, and creative growth. At 19 minutes and 38 seconds, "My Plan" is a short project, yet its plot feels much larger than its runtime.
Part of what makes the EP fascinating is the period behind it. These songs never got old, even as the people who made them did. Rather than aging into obscurity, the material appeared to become more desirable, like wine that gains more character as it ages.
