WHIPPED CREAM finds herself again with “it’s time to go home”

Canadian DJ and producer Caroline Cecil, known worldwide as WHIPPED CREAM, has released a unique single, "It's Time to Go Home," via Monstercat. It doesn't feel like a forward sprint, instead, it feels like a meaningful pause, giving the artist a chance to think about their career as it speeds up.

The release is about reconnecting with people and art. Cecil says the song brings her back to the time when she used to record her thoughts at home while dreaming about dance floors she hadn't yet danced on. That feeling runs through the whole record, which is made up of striking synths and rough, lived-in textures that she recorded in her own space. The result is a sound that accepts flaws and people, letting emotion take center stage.

"It's time to go home" doesn't feel like a trend, it feels like a deliberate choice to stay at the beginning of WHIPPED CREAM's journey and reintroduce herself to both her fans and her own creative roots. It reminds us that growing doesn't always mean going farther away, sometimes it means coming back with a clearer mind.

As a first release, the single sets a thoughtful tone for what's to come. It shows that WHIPPED CREAM is not only a force in electronic music but also an artist who isn't afraid to look back to move forward.
