Polly Money simplifies her sound with the new EP "T-shirt Nothing Else"

Polly Money is prepared for the spotlight with her latest EP, "T-shirt Nothing Else," a personal, shimmering compilation that establishes her as one of the U.K.'s most captivating emerging talents. Still reveling in the aftereffects of a tour with 1975, the artist from Cornwall is demonstrating to the world that she is more than a mere support act, unveiling a project that is simultaneously effortlessly stylish and deeply emotional.

The five-song EP, lasting a bit more than 14 minutes, is an expert display of subtle storytelling. The main track T-shirt is an emotional anthem, blending soft melodies with a whimsical, nostalgic atmosphere. In the meantime, Anything serves as a poignant revelation, filled with comforting guitar melodies and Polly's signature gently emotive singing style. Every track captures a moment of careful design, ranging from a subtle memory of lost affection to a soft anthem for late-night contemplation.

Considering the themes of imposter syndrome and artistic vulnerability, Polly connected with us from her home studio in London on one of the rare sunny days to discuss the process behind the EP. "This project is fundamentally just me, flaws and all," she stated. I aimed to craft something authentic, akin to sharing a late-night conversation with your closest friend at 2 AM
