Just Seconds Apart shines on soulful new single "Arizona"

Phoenix-based acoustic-pop trio Just Seconds Apart is back with their latest single, "Arizona," which is a heartfelt tribute to the place they call home.

The band consists of siblings Sela (on drums), Ari (playing guitar), and Alex Poulos (on keyboards). They have a talent for telling emotional stories in their music, and "Arizona" is a perfect example. Written and produced by the band, the song feels like a personal letter to the beautiful desert landscape in which they grew up, filled with warmth and a sense of memories. "Arizona" showcases their acoustic style with gentle guitar strumming and soft keyboard melodies, all delivered in a way that feels like a quiet chat among friends. It's not a loud anthem trying to grab your attention, instead, it gently draws you in with its honesty. The arrangement allows the emotions to shine through, making listeners feel homesickness, gratitude, and awe with every word.

The music visualizer, created by their longtime collaborator Samuel Dylan Fisher, beautifully complements the song's earthy vibe. Fisher employs simplicity in his visuals, allowing them to effectively reflect the song's message. Arizona isn't just a spot on a map, it's a feeling, a memory, and a part of who they are.
