Burden’s Landing is a young and still undiscovered band from Washington, DC, and their sophomore EP “4 Songs” is a bold statement in the form of a 21-minute-and-49-second collection of loud guitars, driving rhythms, catchy hooks, and the undeniable chemistry of three musicians playing with purpose.
The EP’s four tracks reflect a band that knows how to mix raw energy with melodies that stick with you. Burden’s Landing punches into a sound that feels immediate and alive, generating music that could very easily find its home in a packed basement arena as much as it might on a long drive with the windows down.
After listening throughout the EP, one of the tunes that really strikes out is “Hallucination”.
