Music has always been able to immortalize moments, feelings, and experiences. In his new album, "Water to Wine", Big O offers a curated collection of material that embodies the spirit of progress, collaboration, and artistic connection. The 14-track project, born of a collaboration with Cashus King, is a journey of two distinct talents creating a unified, immersive sound experience.
Big O is the sole producer and arranger of the project, creating the album's overall sound and capturing its main themes of transformation and growth. There’s a sense of continuity between each song, so the album plays out as one full creative statement rather than a collection of individual pieces. His production choices made room for Cashus King’s contributions and enabled the project to explore its emotions, ideas, and storytelling.
Among the highlights of "Water to Wine", “Barry Water” immediately captivates with its indelible presence and potent artistic individuality. The tune is evidence of the album’s ability to marry creative expression with a polished sound trajectory. “Streams” adds another appealing element to the production, delivering a smooth, engaging listening experience that showcases the chemistry between the artists. Another track that sticks with you is “Potiom,” which showcases the diversity and depth of the entire album.
Orlando Turner’s executive production helped keep the album’s vision on track from start to finish, keeping the project on course creatively. Argiris “Argy W” Psylomesis put the final touches on his mixing and mastering work, adding warmth, clarity, and depth to the album’s overall sound.
