Stone Deaf pull the crown with “Joculator” and it's arriving loud, loose, and unapologetically alive

 


Stone Deaf is making a big splash in 2026. The band consists of Michael Pole (songwriter, vocals and guitar), Benjamin Lake (drums) and Charlie Ridgway (bass). from Swansea, Wales, brings a mix of energy, style, and chemistry that makes "Joculator," feel alive and explosive. Michael D Pole, the singer and guitarist, wrote the music, which started as a jam session, finally got a natural and spontaneous feel that really stands out.

"Joculator," scheduled for release on January 22, 2026, shows Stone Deaf's confidence, it's lively, engaging, and ready to make waves. This isn't just a single, it's a statement that the band does best when energy and creativity come together. The production was done in two studios in South Wales and strikes a balance between order and chaos. The keyboard sounds inspired by The Doors give the song a hypnotic quality, and Michael Pole's exciting guitar solo ends it on a high note. The band also uses a special microphone and different vocal effects that give the music personality without losing its energetic feel.

With "Joculator," Stone Deaf takes inspiration from the punchy sounds of The White Stripes and the groovy vibes of Queens of the Stone Age to make something new and different. The song features dynamic guitar riffs, strong rhythms, and a playful edge that keeps people interested. Benjamin Lake's drumming is sharp and on time, and Charlie Ridgway's bass adds depth and energy, sometimes even taking center stage.
