Asthma Kids serve a wake-up call with “Crumbs and Morsels (The Meek Are Getting Ready Pt IV)”

Asthma Kids, Ontario's dynamic duo, is back with a new single, "Crumbs and Morsels (The Meek Are Getting Ready Pt IV)." The song has a lot of energy and urgency right away because it was recorded quickly, having a lot of power in every drumbeat, electronic sound, and emotional vocal. The famous Abbey Road Studios worked on it to smooth out the rough edges and give it a polished sound that powerfully conveys the duo's thoughts on the problems of modern life.

The song's strong vibe is matched by a striking music video directed by Lisa Battocchio, which showcases Toronto's streets as a place of resistance and creative energy. Lorenza Tessaro and a passionate group of people are in the video. They use a gritty, DIY style with handmade masks and city settings. The camera work is lively and energetic, which complements the song's fast pace. This is their second project with Battocchio, after their hit video for "Die On This Hill (...Pt II)." It shows how the band's message and her artistic vision are increasingly intertwined.

The song feels like a call to action at its core. It bravely discusses how power and resources are unfairly distributed in society, but it never sounds preachy. The mix of catchy melodies and sounds draws people in and makes the message feel personal and relevant.

Asthma Kids is not only making music for their upcoming EP but is also getting ready. They are also raising awareness and getting people to feel the urgency of social issues. This shows that the spirit of punk and sharp social commentary is still alive and well.
